Jacques BROUILLET is a lawyer specialising in employment law and EU law.
He was a partner at FIDAL until October 2008. He is currently a member of the Paris Bar and scientific adviser to ACD.
In 1989, he set up the IES (Institut Européen des Juristes en Droit Social), which he chaired until 2008, with the aim of promoting exchanges at European level, not only with his colleagues, but also with other professionals specialising in employment law.
For ten years (1986-1996), within the ANDCP (now ANDRH), he set up and ran a think-tank for HR directors: the C3P: Club de Perfectionnement aux Pratiques Professionnelles. He was an associate lecturer at the University of Paris XII from 1996 to 1999, teaching in the
DESS/Human Resources.
He is a regular speaker at universities (DJCE) and at ESSEC, where he teaches courses in employment law and human resources management, as well as European employment law.
For many years, he has defended a certain concept of the role of lawyers, who, in his view, should be less concerned with applying formal rules than with creating a system of thought to promote harmonisation between the economic objectives and the social purpose of the company.
He is the author of ‘du Droit d'Ingérence au devoir de tolérance’ Ed. De l'Aube 12/1999. He has written numerous articles for the specialist press and for collective works such as: TOUS DRH, Ed. D'Organisation 2/1996, 2nd edition 6/2001; TOUS RESPONSABLES, Ed. D'organisation 2/2004; TOUS RECONNUS, Ed. d'Organisation 8/2005; TOUS TALENTUEUX, Ed. d'Organisation 2009.
