Business criminal law

Protecting and defending businesses in the face of crime

Our work in business criminal law covers all business sectors to defend directors and companies involved in proceedings concerning all types of offences, whether economic (insider trading, corruption, misuse of company assets) or related to workplace health and safety, tax law (fraud), press offences (defamation, online reputation) or audits by the DGCCRF [French Directorate of Competition, Consumption and Fraud Repression].

Our approach primarily consists of supporting directors who come up against the authorities and the criminal courts. We use a rigorous process that is tailored to each individual crime, in coordination with all of the firm’s teams, to provide personalised assistance that reflects the severity of the accusations.

Areas of focus

  • Commercial criminal law: DGCCRF [French directorate of competition, consumption and fraud repression] audits, press offences (defamation, online reputation)
  • Criminal tax law: tax fraud
  • Workplace health and safety: directors’ criminal liability
  • Personalised assistance that reflects the offences
