  • Géraldine Emonet is a partner who acts in an advisory and dispute resolution capacity in the Workplace Health and Safety and Social Law departments. She sets herself apart through her assistance to companies and their directors regarding social security matters.
In this context, she has developed specific expertise in advising companies on the law pertaining to workplace accidents and occupational illnesses in all activity sectors. In fact, she holds a specialist qualification in this area.

She regularly advises companies regarding claims for recognition of occupational illnesses, with special technical knowledge concerning psychological illnesses (burnout, depression and anxiety) and illnesses relating to asbestos or pesticide exposure.

In the interest of optimising their workplace accident statistics, companies entrust her with representing them before the courts to invalidate recognised workplace accident or occupational illness claims.

She provides immediate support to employers faced with a serious workplace accident within the company, assisting them both in their interactions with workplace inspection bodies and CARSAT [the French retirement insurance and workplace health organisation] and during the director’s criminal hearings.

Her assistance also extends before the civil courts, as she works throughout France in disputes concerning employer liability, and before the criminal courts in the event of criminal proceedings for accidental injuries.

With over 10 years of experience as a lawyer providing advice in the field of labour law, she helps her clients make decisions regarding everyday challenges as well as the social law implications of the company’s strategic orientations.
She also has extensive knowledge of social contributions and URSSAF auditing procedures.
